“Without ELK's work with thousands of children each year, our community would be a poorer place. I like knowing I am a part of this organization through my personal support.”

- Joe Mauro, donor

Non-Cash Donations

In-kind gifts, or non-cash gifts are critical to the administration of Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK’s) programs. The generosity of our donors who provide new and gently used educational materials and other program supplies needed, help us ensure that youth continue to receive quality science education programs, outdoor experiences, and the opportunity to succeed. Although new items are always accepted, there are some limitations on “gently used” items, such as clothing and camping equipment.

Please call Kristina at 720-422-0634 with any questions.

The items listed below are needed for ELK’s year-round intensive programs and in-school/after-school programs.

Outdoor Clothing for Youth Ages 8-18

  • Winter coats
  • Gloves
  • Snow pants

Camping Equipment

  • Tents
  • Coolers
